Adding Twitter to Your Blog
Has the mind meld already happened? My twitter posts show up on my blog, and they can (although currently, they don't) instantly display on my facebook page as well as other social network sites. And, chat from facebook shows up in the form of a text message on my iPhone (I guess because I have the facebook app on my iPhone).
I love that social networking sites make it so easy to add RSS feeds (such as my twitter posts in my blog sidebar). I opt for copying code into my template, but I can see an effort has been made to automate the process a bit for My Space, Blogger, Facebook for those less comfortable with looking at HTML tags.
Will gluenow.com and sites like it further the linkage? It makes sense that SAS or middleware of some type is created that helps people move their content from websites to mobile devices to social networks. And, when that happens, will the world just be one be data-dump of our every thought? Is it useful to bring down all boundries? Do we want to show the same face to everyone?
